Is MSN Search Gay? (not that there's anything wrong with that)

With much hoopla, Microsoft announced the launch of their new search engine on MSN.com. I tried a simple image search to compare it to Google. The search term was, naturally, "banana". Here's what I discovered.

In the Google search, there are a lot of photos of bananas, drawings of bananas, the occasional picture of a banana tree slug, and some banana seats on Huffy bicycles. Basically, a lot of this:

In the MSN search, I get a lot of this:

Sure, it's a valid result (note the word "banana" on the strap), but how many people doing an image search on "banana" are looking for that?

And before you suggest that perhaps MSN search is female, I checked with the resident female. In her opinion, this is not something that would be attractive to females in general. So I'm sticking with the gay hypothesis.
