The morning after the blackout

And the lord said, "let there be light!" And there was light.
And it came on at 7am and woke the family who had left all of the switches turned on. And the family turned the light back off for at least another hour.
Verily, the father arose and did check the refrigerator. And it stinketh not. And he was glad and did enjoy grain and cereals with milk.
And the mother did employ the dryer of hair and it did blow with the heat of the desert and there was much rejoicing.
But the children did wail and gnash their teeth, as the Internet was not available. But the parents, who have cellular service in their phones, did play Words with Friends and did not heed the Lamentations of the progeny.
