Optical Broadband Opportunities

I will be speaking at the Optical Broadband Opportunities conference in Atlanta, GA on March 31st. The topic is Choosing FTTH Technology to Match Market Conditions: The Worldwide Scene. The overview in the pamphlet covers a lot - B-PON in Japan, E-PON in China, G-PON in the US, IP video, RF video, business cases, and more. All in 45 minutes or less.

Again, for those who have seen my "FTTP in Japan" talk, there will be a lot of overlap. However, I believe that it is important for the audience and the conference organizers that each talk be somewhat different and have more audience-relevant information. I'm sure this one will be the same.

I just received notice that the slides are due in a week, so naturally I picked up my keyboard, cracked my knuckles and ... created a blog entry. I'll do the slides tomorrow.
