A very, very worthy cause.
In districts throughout the USA, your essential improvement is my pork. Porkbusters is a movement to change that perception. It's rolled up in the Katrina relief effort, but we can hope that it will last beyond this catastrophe and result in a new view within Congress about the responsible caretakership of the citizenry's funds.
Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt. Still, it's worth a shot.
